Although this building is not by Michael craig martin, I have included it because of the use of colour. It shows if you pick the right tonal values even really garish colours can work. These acid yellows should really hurt your eyes, but I think it looks rather good, brighten up any office.

These huge works by Michael Craig Martin on the outsides of buildings are amazing, not only are the colours amazing and will stand out from anywhere but they are so unexpected, I would love to walk past one of these by accident. The colours go together so well. It is interesting to think about dressing the exterior of buildings, why do they have to be so plain all the time?
