New York Line By Line is an interesting book, as the drawings are quite simple in one way because they are all one colour on white, but at the same time they are very densely patterned and full of loads of buildings and shapes. I like the different methods and range of marks that are used, sometimes the same mark over and over again. Perhaps mark making is the way to go when drawings outside onsite.
