I prefer the coloured wood ones, and this is a new type of tree I have seen, as this is set in a block to keep it up and no slotting together.
The picture on the left was taken because it shows the new material I am working with set against the very streets inspiring the imagery.
Great colours in the trees in the background. The laser cutter again used to create wooden sets.
The snowmen are one of the first slot together ornaments I have seen in shops. But based on the thickness of the wood, these don't even slot, they are glued together in the the cross shape, which gives them their form and balance.
Large scale slot together! I think if there is such a market for slot together ornamentation at Christmas, then does that mean non-festivity based ornaments could be popular all year round. And maybe there just isn't anyone making them, another reason why I should get creating them next term.
