Tiger - Norwich - In this store I spotted these wooded printed hooks, they are almost along the lines of the functional features I discussed in an earlier post. They are lightweight and at this size would be cheap to make considering how big sheet materials are and how many you could get from it.
These 'log' pillows are the ultimate opposite, soft and made to look like something hard. They are like modern versions of things Claus Oldenburg did years ago!
Unexpected relations - The first image of the window display is in the window of the shop Cotswold, it is in keeping with their outdoor adventure based products, but the funny thing is the logs are made from folded cardboard, another odd variation of what you expect something to be like, as these will be light instead of heavy like the real thing.
And this colourful screen was spotted in Ask Italian and it featured a few colours from my colour palette so I had to snap it.
Acrylic versions of the slot together trees I have considered for context. Having the translucency is great as you can see the whole design just from standing on one side. You wouldn't be able to achieve this except from with laser cutting.
