I have included these for their use of wood effect or colouring. Using pattern to create a similar pattern of that of wood grain came up quite a few times in this book. Where it differs is definitely in terms of detail. I prefer the use of wood pattern slipped into smaller areas of a picture rather than the full wood backgrounds in Scott Rhodes work.
