Doing some research into different printmaking techniques in the book Print Workshop: Hand print techniques. It reminded me of monoprinting, which is more a method of making drawings as opposed to printing as such. I haven't done this since last year, but I am definitely going to this term, as it will give me a chance to develop my drawings, and test colours.
I also read up about water based inks, which is something I am more interested in using than oil based, due to the need for solvents, but also because working in the print room and studios oil based would have a strong smell and limit the amount of places I am allowed to do work. They are also better for the environment.
